for this Transformative Yoga Teacher Training

How is this yoga teacher training unique?

  • We train our teachers to align with social justice values so they can be welcoming and aware toward all students.

  • We take time to apply ancient yoga philosophy to contemporary questions of our time, making the training more relevant and self-reflective.

  • We co-create a supportive community environment with our students that fosters transformational growth and support.

  • We emphasize a trauma-informed approach to teaching, focusing on the mind-body connection rather than just the outer postures.

  • We offer diverse areas of expertise, including Buddhist philosophy, neurobiology, Tantric perspectives, precise biomechanical alignment and creative asana sequencing.

The Yoga teacher training is held in beautiful Western Massachusetts at the beautiful Community Yoga Center at 16 Federal Street, Greenfield, MA.

We use a weekend format to make the Yoga Teacher training more accessible to those with work and family commitments and out-of-towners. See the details for 2018 here.

Our training is for those who want to bring their yoga practice into their daily lives in a profound way and wish to utilize yoga as a way to bring more energy, compassion and nourishment to their work in the world.

We use payment plans and scholarship funds to make the yoga teacher training more financially accessible. Let us know on your application if these options would make the training more possible.
